Pretty cool tutorial on creating a snowboarding themes website design. Though it does not seem overly snowboard specific… more winter themed to me. Cool nonetheless.
This afternoon I ran across a couple of articles talking about one person’s experience of becoming a freelance designer. Obviously I’m not going to be becoming a freelance designer (well any kind of designer really), but its still interesting reading. I’m sure some of the information is transferable to other kinds of freelancers. It does seem like a cool way to work if you can pull it off. Enjoy!
One other important thing to note about the first link is that the author lives in the UK. It’s probably a lot easier to make the jump to being a freelancer there than here in the US due to the fact that they do not have to worry about health care. This was always one of my biggest concerns with even continuing on in graduate school.
